Garage Door Leaf Bumper Springs (U-style) are used on overhead garage doors that have jackshaft style openers installed on standard radius track garage doors. Leaf springs are used to keep tension on the cables and torsion spring system by helping prevent the cables from popping off when door is raised to quickly or the door from slamming into the back of the garage door track.
